The Report Writer tab tables test data using the SNP/CHC model. This means that the system can automatically categorize and classify subtest data based on skill, even if the tests use different scoring standards.

To do this, we support a variety of scoring standards, including Standard scores, scaled scores, percentile ranks, and cumulative percentile range. Regardless of which standard is used, the [Report Writer](docId\:Al_MvA9yDkBldPtP4JQ4Q) can generate tables based on the normative classification for that skill.

Here's a breakdown of how we calculate the normative classification for each scoring standard:

## Scores Formatting

To make it easy to tell how the data was tabled Report Writer uses the following formatting of the score in the table:

- Standard Score (STDS): denoted by Normal Text
 - Example: 70
- Scaled Score (SS): denoted by the score in between Parenthesis
 - Example: (7)
- Percentile Rank (PR): denoted by the score in italics with the % symbol
 - Example: *80%*
- Percentile Rank Range (PRR) / Cumulative Percentile Ranges (CPR): denoted by the range in italics with the % symbol
 - Example: *80 - 100%*
